Geoda 彡
A living film archive of more than 300 magnetic videotapes, spanning nine years of intimate queer encounters across Latin America and Europe.
The archive unfolds through intimate and performative recordings moving between conversations, rituals, shared experiences and intimacy documentation. Bodies, identities and landscapes appear in states of transition, shaped by movement and transformation.
Facing Intimacy with Intimacy
The project exists outside the logic of virtuality and proposes itself as a form of resistance to the constant consumption of images, while activating physical spaces for encounter and exchange.
As new tapes are incorporated, ephemeral films are edited, connecting different fragments of the archive into shifting dialogues. These films are presented through intimate screenings organized in groups that create conditions for closeness and conversation. Each presentation changes over time, making every encounter unique.
These encounters continue expanding the archive while remaining open to vulnerability and transformation, turning the project from a personal exploration into a shared experience.
